    PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Illinois Humanities is seeking to hire ScaleWP to redevelop its website design and content strategy from the ground up with a WordPress framework that will empower its internal team to publish new content.

    APPROACH

Based on your RFP, we are proposing the following approach with the objective to create a more cohesive design for the site that does a better job presenting the Illinois Humanities story and programs..

    • ScaleWP will help develop a comprehensive web style guide and other creative elements that set the tone for the design of the website.
    • ScaleWP will work with the Illinois Humanities team to create a new theme for the site with a modern, updated redesign of the website’s global user experience and primary pages which will include the home page, global navigation, news/blog pages and other pages as defined below.
    • CRM integrations will be done using Gravity Forms and the Gravity forms Zapier addon. ScaleWP will also provide a dashboard that displays an overview of actual form entries so that Illinois Humanities can compare website entries and CRM entries..
    • We will create a new WordPress child theme based on the designs using the existing Divi premium framework that’s easy to customize and manage.
    • Content (new copy, pdfs, images) will be provided by the client, or ScaleWP can source these images using Adobe Stock when needed.
    • We will provide training for the company staff to update and manage new functionality on the site.

    TIMING
The site will be complete and ready to launch 90 days after project initiation. Timing is subject to approval and content being provided in a timely manner.

    • Included in the Home page design draft will be the overall site Chrome (Branding, navigation and footer) which will integrate a Mega Menu design.
    • ScaleWP will create low-fidelity, web-based wireframes based on content and general direction provided by the Illinois Humanities team.
    • Define custom mapping functionality and external integrations with WordPress.
    • Meet/call, revise and review the wireframe drafts based on feedback from the Illinois Humanities team.
    • Once these wireframes are approved ScaleWP will begin creating finalized Figma designs with the following deliverables:
